I’ve always had trouble finding free wifi spots wherever I am. Sure, you could go to Starbucks, but so is everyone else, which slows things down a lot. This app, though, the Wi-Fi Finder, is very useful. Basically, it finds wifi for you, and it does it well.

It uses the GPS in your phone to track down wifi networks near you, and can even show them on a map. You can search with filters, too, such as free, pay, by provider, locations, such as cafe, library, and so on. Another great feature is being able to download locations, so if you’re offline, or don’t want to roam, you can still find available wifi.

The app itself is very easy to use and self-explanatory. It’s pretty fast and gets the job done.
