Your iPhone + Square = You’re In Business

If you run a small business, especially one that is on the go, Square is a must have iPhone app. So what is it, exactly? Basically Square is a program that allows you to accept cash, but more importantly, credit cards on your phone.

Once you sign up, Square will send you a card reader, that fits right into the earphones jack on your iPhone. From there, account set up is super easy, it doesn’t require any sort of fees every month and you aren’t locked into any contracts. Then, when you have a customer that is ready to pay, you just swipe the card (Visa, MC, Amex or Discover) in the reader and boom, good to go. Customer signs using their fingertip on the iPhone and the transaction is complete. Just like using a card anywhere else.

The funds will be deposited into your account the next day, and you can even set up Square to text or email customers their receipts for their own records. It even has the options to add tip and tax on the bill, plus Square has built in analytics that will allow you to track all your sales. This truly is an amazing app.
